Hun, do you know what your salon lashes are made from? Most salons don't feel the need to tell you what's in their lashes or icky glue. Do you know if the lash glue is toxic and have you been warned about eye infections? Ever thought about how the equipment is sanitized? How about if the salon falsies are synthetic or tested on animals? I'm guessing you've probably never really thought about them in this much detail - I know I never did.
These really are unknown facts and most girls just don't know! But then again, why would you, if you've never been told?
Well, I'll tell you how it is - sadly many fake lashes are made from animal hair which comes from little cuties called mink! Now in today's culture, the majority of people wouldn't dream of wearing a real fur coat. I mean, when did you last see fur coats which weren't faux fur in Zara or John Lewis, Asos or Missguided? I don't think you need me to answer that for you?! So why buy animal lashes and put a dead animal on your eyelids if you wouldn't wear a fur coat?! Seriously?
Can Salon Mink Lashes Be Cruelty Free?
In one short answer...NO!
And that's why BEAUTY SETTING MAGNETIC LASHES ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE TESTED ON OR MADE FROM ANIMALS! Why do we need to hurt a furry little innocent being when there are now such great alternatives to mink?
Beauty Setting Magnetic Lashes are synthetic and we do not use toxic glue...full stop, never .... ever! Nor, do we ever test on animals ...in case you missed that bit! Our lashes are quite simply ..... cruelty free and that's one of the many reasons why we love them.

The Real Fur Crisis
Is it worth the cruelty for the hassle?
Did you know....
63% of the global mink production comes from the 5000 farms in the EU! And to think I barely knew what mink was a few years ago, let alone that it was practically on our doorstep, supplying the world!
Worldwide, around 2 mink are killed every second, everyday, just for their skin!
On 6th November 2020, Denmark announced that it was going to cull its entire mink population to prevent the spread of covid ..... that's a whopping 17 million of the poor things, needlessly killed.
Since 2015, European mink, in their natural habitat, have been critically endangered and are on the extinction red list. Breeding and killing mink does nothing to help sustain mink populations as we can be led to believe.
Just think twice - if a website says their mink is brushed for their fur, rather than being killed, this is extremely unlikely. Mink are wild and solitary animals, which are scared of humans. Do you think they would sit still whilst being lovingly stroked and brushed?! I think not, they would likely lash out in defense. Therefore it's more likely they would be killed and their bodies discarded after spending their short life in a cramped cage.
There is no such thing as cruelty free and free range, mink lashes - Is his life really worth a lash?!
